For the past 4 years, Arthur L. has been an Abylsen explorer, but he is also and above all a high-level athlete who has been practicing highlining for many years.
Highlining is a sport that consists of moving on a slackline (webbing) stretched at height. Depending on the height, people are usually assisted by safety equipment in case of a fall. This is a little-known sport whose particularly high physical and mental intensity makes it an extreme sport.
In line with the Group’s values and the brand’s positioning, Arthur naturally asked Abylsen to support him in his very ambitious project: to set a new world highline record by crossing a 2710 metre long slackline!
To do this, from 30 July to 14 August 2022, no less than 8 highline athletes took up the challenge and… the world record fell! The first successful passage was achieved in 2 hours and 20 minutes, Arthur managed a new exploit by finishing the crossing in 1 hour and 45 minutes, congratulations to him!
With his unwavering dedication, Arthur prepared everything so that the 2700 project would take place in the best possible conditions and that the skywalkers would be able to explore new horizons in safety.
