In order to improve the yield and efficiency of some tyre production machines, Abylsen’s consulting engineers visited the customer’s production units to conduct an upstream study of project feasibility and to define the technical specifics and constraints.
They then performed the dimensioning calculations, along with the resulting mechanical design of the machines (mechanically welded systems, sheet metal, machined parts, tolerance, etc.).

Using CATIA V5 CAD software, the Abylsen consulting team worked on the sizing of mechanical elements for printing and shaping machines. They then set up a standardisation and simplification of certain components in a “design to cost” approach.
